Boston Airport Information
(Boston, Massachusetts (MA), USA)
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) - Boston, MA, USA
Logan International Airport is located in East Boston and stands on a peninsula facing the city. It is the main airport for international flights into New England, handling over 60 airlines. Virtually all international visitors will come through Logan Airport, the sixth busiest airport in America, with connections to and from the Pacific Rim, Europe and Latin America.
Bradley International Airport in Connecticut and Bangor International Airport in Maine handle some international traffic, but they are mainly used for domestic routings. It can sometimes be cheaper to fly into New York's JFK Airport and get a connection to one of the New England airports.
With the exception of the services between Boston and New York, domestic flights are generally very expensive. If you are planning to fly to another state or within New England, it is advisable to purchase a ticket in advance. Airport taxes are included in the price of the ticket and some airlines offer 'Visit USA' passes. Travel agents should be able to advise on the best deals.
